2 civilians, CRPF man injured in Tral grenade blast

Two civilians and CRPF man were injured after suspected militants hurled a grenade towards CRPF patrol party in Batagund area of Tral in Pulwama district on Saturday.
Militants lobbed a grenade towards a CRPF patrol party at Batagund Chowk in Tral this afternoon, a police official said.
He said the grenade exploded with a big bang injuring two civilians and a CRPF man.
The injured were shifted to Sub-district hospital Tral.
The doctors said all the splinter injuries and termed their condition as stable.
The injured civilians were identified as Shabir Ahmed Bhat son of Abdul Salam and Bilal Ahmed Sheikh son of Abdul Gani Sheikh, both residents of Kuchmulla village of Tral area.
Soon after the grenade attack, youth hit the streets in main town Tral and clashed with force personnel.
The cops fired tear smoke shells to disperse the youth, who pelted stones on them. The clashes continued for some time.
