Pakistan Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif said India government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was hampering the relations between Pakistan and India.
“We would like to have a good relationship with the Indians. But I don’t think there is a chance of any improvement for relationship with the present religious extremist government in Delhi,” Asif told a current affairs programme of TRT World.
He alleged that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in India is “a religious extremist movement.”
On Indian claims that Pakistan was ‘obsessed’ with it, Asif said, “It is not an obsession. India is a danger to our security, we must be vigilant. This is the bedrock of our policy.”
