SRINAGAR: Pakistan’s Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Roshan Khursheed Bharocha has said the dream of peace and prosperity in the region will remain elusive without resolving the Kashmir dispute.
She expressed these views in an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan on the eve of second anniversary of slain Kashmiri militant commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani, which was observed on both sides on the Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday.
“The Minister for Kashmir Affairs called upon international community to urge India to respect Human Rights Charter and put an immediate end to gross human rights violations in occupied Kashmir,” Radio Pakistan reported.
She said Pakistan will continue to extend its unwavering political, moral and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir in their struggle for right to self-determination in accordance with UN resolutions.
