Giving Tuesday

For almost two decades, the World Kashmir Awareness Forum (WKA) has served as a 501(c)3 organization focused on bringing the world information about life and the injustices occurring in occupied Kashmir. With your support, we have been able to foster a community for Kashmiris around the globe as well as educate others on the plight of the Kashmiri people. Throughout the years, we have collaborated with diplomatic and civic organizations, including the United Nations, Amnesty International, and the Human Rights Council. We have participated in the Russell Tribunal, ran advertisements in Times Square, and organized grassroots protests. Although this has been a step in the right direction, it is paramount to take action now more than ever.

The World Kashmir Awareness Forum is excited to announce a new phase in its growth that will focus on even more advocacy, outreach, and premier news reporting. A new office has been set up near Washington, DC to help make this dream a reality. Acclaimed artists and moviemakers have been hired by our team to bolster our online presence and multi-media productions. We have also begun partnerships with attorneys and journalists on the ground in Kashmir to bring you the most accurate and up-to-date reporting.

As our team enters this phase of growth, so too should be the support. WKA is proud to participate in Giving Tuesday on November 29, 2022. Donations will allow us to educate the public, combat harmful propaganda, and produce advocacy materials for all to share.

We are taught that a community is like one body, where if one part is hurt then the rest is in pain. Kashmir needs you. The world needs you, because injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
