Kulgam: Minors go missing in mystery, toll 3

KULGAM — At least two minor kids have gone missing from their residential place in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district. This has taken the toll of missing kids in the district to three.

Quoting an unnamed official, KNO reported that two minors, identified as 10-year-old Roshan Din, son of Jamaldin, and 13-year-old Suhail Ahmad Mir, son of Manzoor Ahmad Mir — both residents of Nandimarg Kulgam — went missing from different places of Kulgam.

He said Roshin went missing from Darul Uloom Baitul-Hilal Chawalgam on March 28 while Suhail went to school on March 31 at 10:00 am and there are no traces about him since.

The families of the two minors have approached Police Station Damhal Hanjipora and Kulgam where they have filed missing reports.

Police said that a case under FIR number 47/2021 under section 364 IPC and FIR number 27/2021 under section 363 IPC has been registered and investigation has been initiated in both cases.

Meanwhile, searches continued on Thursday for the second straight day to trace a four-year-old boy who went missing from Chowgam area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday. (KNO).
