Kulgam: Raped by policeman, retired army man, minor girl gets pregnant
Quoting a senior official, KDC reported that a minor girl (name withheld), aged about 15/16-years-old, has got pregnant after she was allegedly raped by two men — one policeman and a retired army man.
He said that police have registered a formal case in Police Station Qazigund under FIR Number 61/2021 U/S 342, 109, 376D of IPC under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
“In total, four persons who were accused of the immoral act have been arrested. They include a policeman, a retired army man, a lady and another civilian,” he said
He added that further investigations pertaining to the case are going on.
Pertinently, last week, a girl was allegedly raped in the same area inside a truck by two persons, who are currently facing detention in the said case. (KDC)
